Antioch has a long history of championing the work of living composers. From world premieres and commissions by Paul Mealor, Ivo Antognini and Doug Helvering to a full length recording of California composer Matthew Brown, Antioch is committed to bringing attention to the work of the world’s best living choral composers.
Antioch is currently accepting submissions from composers to be featured at a concert in February, 2016 and for the consideration of future recording projects and concerts. Antioch has 12 members: 4 sopranos, 2 altos, 2 tenors and 4 basses. Please be sure that the piece you are submitting would fit Antioch’s voicing. Composers may submit as many pieces as they feel fit Antioch’s voicing and style, but should be careful to send only the best of what they feel will fit.
